HIGH SCHOOL PROGRAMS

As high school students begin to prepare themselves for their futures, they have many unanswered questions about what lies ahead. Junior Achievement's high school programs help students make informed, intelligent decisions about their futures, and foster skills that will be highly useful in their lives.

With a range of different programs that run one session a week for 8—10 weeks, Junior Achievement teaches business, financial, and career concepts related to young people and their futures. From career options to interviewing skills, the volunteers bring their own experience into the classroom at a time that represents a critical crossroads for young people.

HIGH SCHOOL PROGRAMS INCLUDE:

AIG is partnering with Junior Achievement of New York to address the need for ongoing, accessible financial education for low and moderate income New York City high school students. A generous three-year grant from the AIG Financial Literacy Fund will enable more than 26,000 students to participate in the JA-NEFE High School Financial Planning Program and the JANY Summer Youth Employment Financial Literacy Workshop.
