JA JOB SHADOW PROGRAM KICK-OFF: FEBRUARY 2010

Remember When You Were a Kid? What Did You Want to Be? Who Did You Want to Be? How Many Career Options Were You Aware Of?

Take pride in your career accomplishments by hosting JA Job Shadow students. Use your career achievements to motivate young people to a successful future!

If you love your job, why not share it with a kid? Each February, Junior Achievement New York kicks-off its year round career exploration program with a month-long series of high profile job shadow activities with NYC media outlets. The Kick-off month creates awareness and visibility for Junior Achievement?s popular career education program, which takes kids behind the scenes of NYC businesses. Students learn about current and emerging career opportunities and get to meet and connect with professional businessmen and women like you ? the movers and shakers of the NYC and Long Island business community. Your insight, your knowledge, your experience and your passion for what you do can guide and inspire a student to a more positive direction in life.
