When you're in school, there are plenty of things to think about: What do you want your life to be like as an adult? What career would you love to have? How much education will you need to make it happen?
No matter what grade you're in, JA New York can give you an extra edge. It's never too early to start planning for success. You have the potential — use it to make your future a success.
The JA Student Center is your "map to tomorrow." It's part of the Junior Achievement Worldwide website that's set up with resources to help you prepare for a great career and future. Explore the topics below to learn what JA New York has to offer you.
Each week, a volunteer comes to your classroom to teach a lesson specially designed by JA to fit in with what you're already learning in school, but with the extra insight only the volunteer can add from his or her own life experience.
The volunteer will visit your class for about 45 minutes once per week for 5–10 weeks, depending on your grade.
These scholarship opportunities are available to high school students.
