Bowl-A-Thons are the most popular method of fund-raising for JANY because they are easy to plan, and provide evenings for colleagues to relax, have fun, and mingle, outside a work environment. Bowl-A-Thons can take place at any time, and are usually sponsored by individual companies for their employees to participate in.
Funds raised by Bowl-A-Thon events enable JANY to train volunteers and provide materials such as curriculum, textbooks, computer software, and writing supplies to students at no cost to them or their schools.

Six-person teams collect pledges, bring them the night of the event, and then bowl for prizes, fun, and, most importantly, young people's futures.
What is each individual's obligation?
In order to participate in a Bowl-A-Thon, each team must meet their fund-raising goal. In return, JANY provides you with bowling shoes, an evening of bowling, a JANY T-shirt, and a chance to win some cash in a raffle.
Why you should participate:
Bowl-A-Thons encourage team-building skills, and they can help cultivate relationships with your clients and vendors. They also allow company employees to feel good knowing they are contributing their time to a worthy cause while getting to know each other better.
